The deployment phase is the final stage of your project. It is a time of intensive final testing and debugging. All project team members must continue to follow the guidelines of good project management during this stage. Bugs should be documented and changes in code should be made properly and documented in the code. Old versions of the project should be saved.
If the project has been properly designed and built, the final result will fulfill the business needs of the user. Using the cyclic methodology means that we will end up with a user centered application that is built from the best components within the limitations of the project.
Deployment of the application created by the project is not difficult, but there are a number of issues that must be considered, such as including additional necessary files and deciding in which format the application will be sent out. Once the application has been successfully deployed and accepted by the client, all concerned can officially sign off the project.
