10. The following PERT chart was prepared at the beginning of a small construction project.

The Dock B Shipbuilding Company received a contract from the government to build the prototype of a new U.S. Navy destroyer. The destroyer is to be nuclear-powered, include advanced weapon systems, and have a small crew. The Dock B Shipbuilding Company has assigned to the task a project manager who, in turn, has delegated minor subprojects to subordinate managers.
