General Responsibilities

Program management is responsible for assessing the necessity of project- or phase-level reviews on a case-by-case basis, and for ensuring that risk management is integrated into the process. If necessary, project- or phase-level reviews are included in project- or phase-level plans and schedules.

Program management is responsible for ensuring that engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and procurement personnel participate in reviews as appropriate. Program management also coordinates the attendance of customers, subcontractors, and vendors as required.

Program management is responsible for establishing the time, place, and agenda for each project-level review. Additionally, program management is responsible for facilitating the review process by

■ Scheduling reviews in coordination with the project schedule and the availability of necessary information

■ Publishing the review agenda

■ Reserving conference rooms

■ Designating someone to record, publish, and distribute meeting minutes and action items
