Risk Register D

The Risk Register is an expanding document. The log consists of a summary of all known risks, the possibility of these occurring, their likely impact, measures taken to reduce the individual risks and the responsibility for managing these risks. Insight and overview are fundamental to successful risk management. The project manager is responsible for the Risk Register. He records the initial risks in the Business Case. The project manager updates the Risk Register during the project. 'Consider that the greatest problems lie where we are not looking for them' (freely translated from W. von Goethe, 1749-1832).
