Close Procurements Inputs

The Close Procurements process has two inputs:

■ Project management plan

■ Procurement documentation

I've discussed both these inputs before, but you should know a few more things about procurement documentation for this process. Procurement documentation includes the contract itself (or other procurement form) and all the supporting documents that go along with it. These might include things such as the WBS, the project schedule, change control documents, technical documents, financial and payment records, quality control inspection results, and so on. This information—along with all the other information gathered during the project—is filed once the project is closed out so that anyone considering a future project of similar scope can reference what was done.
