Meeting critique

Some teams find it useful to perform a self-assessment meeting at the end of the meeting. This is particularly beneficial when just starting a team. It provides a means to develop the skills required for effective team meetings while also fostering teamwork through finding success working on a nonmission related activity. The more successes a team has as a team, the easier the team can develop and maintain teamwork. The team needs to design its own meeting critique. This critique should be completed as a team at the end of the meeting. It should take no longer than 5 to 10 minutes. The critique should address the following:

■ Communications

■ Was communication effective?

■ Was there discussion on all items?
