Looking at the projects cost

You've seen how to assign costs to resources. You've also seen how to assign resources to tasks — and, by the transitive property of equality (remember that one from high school algebra?), assigning a resource to which you have assigned a cost causes your project to have a cost. Are you wondering what that cost is? From either the Gantt Chart view or the Resource Sheet view, choose ProjectOProject Information to open the Project Information dialog box. Select Statistics to open the Project Statistics dialog box, as shown in Figure 5-17.
