Project Celebrations

If the project was successful, the project manager should hold a celebration for the project team. A celebration provides an excellent opportunity for the (a) project sponsor, (b) client, or (c) project manager to acknowledge specific individuals or team contributions, as well as present awards that may have been earned during the life of a project. A celebration brings closure to the project for all team members, and it serves as a motivation for the next project. In my experience, it is common to hand out project souvenirs or gifts to those members who achieved success.
