Delivering What Was Promised

It is important that project managers deliver what was promised to the client, adding value wherever required. A readiness review is the formal transfer of information from the systems development team to the system test team. This process is to take place at the end of each phase of testing. The purpose of a readiness review is to communicate clearly the status of the system prior to the start of the system test. This is a critical step because it generates awareness of the following:

The stability of each function Various tests that have been performed Outstanding defects (discussion of defects should take place)

More functionality to be completed during the course of testing
